Atlehuaya and Vista Hermosa, Veracruz.
The Atlahuilco Dish represents the traditional pieces of this community, composed of 3 pieces. A flat plate alluding to the comal, a second flat plate with a similar edge to the comal, and a tall deep plate. All pieces will have details with leaf and root marks, molded completely by hand and burnished with stones and quartz. The firing is done outdoors with local oak, which provides the characteristic black and brown marks.
