PRIVACY NOTICE

Your privacy and trust are very important to Fundación Haciendas Mundo Maya, A.C., hereinafter Ensamble Artesano, responsible for safeguarding the privacy, integrity, processing, and protection of your Personal Data, in compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its regulations, Guidelines, and other applicable regulations, so we want you, users, to know the measures that are taken in this regard.

The responsible party is located at Av. Constituyentes 1162, Lomas Altas, Miguel Hidalgo, 11950 Mexico City, and can assist you from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs.; and/or via email at ensambleartesano@fhmm.org.

For what purposes are my personal data collected and used?

Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

1.- Primary Purpose. Ensamble Artesano will process your personal data to process the purchases you make in our online store, process payments, issue electronic receipts, and manage the delivery, returns, and warranty claims of the same products, as well as issue invoices.

Likewise, your personal data may be used for the subscription of donation contracts.

2.- Secondary Purposes. Ensamble Artesano may process your personal data to carry out any or all of the following purposes that do not necessarily derive from the processing of purchases made through your online store, such as: addressing your doubts and opinions, in case you contact us; informing you of projects, news, stories of the participating artisans, workshops, courses, programs, and promotions through our Newsletter or bulletins.

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of your relationship with us and for a period of 2 years after its termination, both for primary and secondary purposes; or in advance if there is a Cancellation request on your part, in terms of the procedure to exercise ARCO rights specified later.

What personal data do they collect and where?

For the purposes indicated in this privacy notice, we may collect your personal data in different ways:

When provided directly; that is, you provide it to us through various means, when you want to make an online purchase of any of our products, send us a question or comment, or when you subscribe to our Newsletter or bulletins.


The personal data we collect may include:

  • Identification data: full name, home address, or any address for the delivery of products, telephone number (local and/or mobile), and email.
  • Financial data: To process the payment of the products we offer and will consist of: bank card number, expiration date, and if applicable security code (CVV) and/or dynamic code (token).
  • Tax data: Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC), fiscal address, foreign tax identification number. In order to issue the corresponding invoice.

Do they collect and process sensitive personal data?

It is important to point out that Ensamble Artesano DOES NOT collect or process in any way information that reveals aspects of racial or ethnic origin, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, union affiliation, political opinions, or sexual preference.

However; it is important to indicate that banking data are collected which are used to collect payment for the products to be purchased; this data is transferred to the corresponding banking entity to enable said payment to be made.

How can I express my refusal to use my personal data for secondary or ancillary purposes?

If you do not want your personal data to be processed for secondary purposes, you can send an email to our address (ensambleartesano@fhmm.org) from this moment, stating the above, so that the corresponding notes are taken. If you do not express your refusal for these purposes within a period of 5 business days from the collection of your personal data, we will understand that you have given us your explicit consent.

Can my data be transferred or shared within the country or abroad?

The banking data provided must necessarily be transferred to the banking entity to which the account corresponds so that it can validate and make the payment. Likewise, your name and address data will be transferred to the courier company, either in Mexico or abroad, which will make the deliveries of the products you purchase in our online store.

It is important to note that for the management of international shipments, data (name and address) may be transferred to a courier company that carries out international shipments, however, this management is dealt with directly with the customer and not through the online store; therefore, Ensamble Artesano is released from the responsibility of transfer in case of international shipments.


All other personal data collected will not be shared within or outside the country; in this regard, the data controller will always be Ensamble Artesano.


What are the means to exercise my Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition rights to the processing of my data?

You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, how we use it, and the conditions of use we give them (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information in case it is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); to have us delete your information from our database or delete your profile when you consider that they are not being used in accordance with the principles, duties, and obligations provided for in the regulations (Cancellation); as well as to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO.

Likewise, you can revoke at any time the consent you have given and that is necessary for the processing of your data; as well as limit the use or disclosure of the same.

The above is done through a request, which is sent to Ensamble Artesano at the address at the beginning of this notice; or by sending a request or application via email to the following address: (ensambleartesano@fhmm.org).

The request must be made in a free, simple, and brief written form where: 1) describe precisely which of the ARCO rights you wish to exercise; 2) indicate which personal data you wish to exercise the aforementioned rights on; it is also important 3) to provide any element or document that facilitates the location of the personal data for which you wish to exercise the ARCO rights. Likewise, it is of utmost importance 4) to correctly prove your identity as the holder of the rights; or, if applicable, provide the documents that prove your legal representation; 5) provide an address for sending and receiving notifications and 6) email for the purpose of sending a response to the request, which will preferably be done by that means.
